Prostate Cancer – Are You At Risk?
Cancer in general refers to the medical condition in which the cells in a particular part of the body show abnormal growth. Prostate cancer affects the prostate gland in men and is known to kill around 30,000 patients in U.S. every year. Approximately 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer over the course of their lifetime.
Prostate gland is the most vulnerable gland in a male body and prostate related conditions are the most common health concerns for males today. It is responsible for a sexual function wherein it produces semen fluid. Abnormal growth of the prostate is very common in men over 40 and is often the reason behind Prostatitis, BPH and Prostate Cancer.
